Comedian, actor and columnist Kevin Downey, Jr. has been featured on America’s Got Talent and on Dry Bar Comedy. Kevin headlines comedy clubs all over the US and calls New York City home.
Born in Detroit, Michigan, Downey Jr. made his television debut at only age six on CKLW’s “The Bozo Show. After moving to New York seeking fame and fortune, he enjoyed his first comedy show at New York’s Comic Strip Live and immediately realized his calling; however, it took three years for him to build up the courage to get on stage and perform. Downey Jr. has since headlined clubs all across the USA, and can be heard as a regular guest on The Bob and Tom Show, and Sirius and XM Satellite radio.
Downey Jr. is also a proud member of Armed Forces Entertainment, travelling the world performing for the troops. He has visited Army bases all over the globe, including Pearl Harbor, Guam, Roi-Namur, Singapore and Diego Garcia. The comedian has also appeared on Comedy Central, What Not to Wear and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and authors a regular column called, Drinking on $11 a Night, which can be read in GC Magazine and Bachelor Pad Magazine.
