The Comedy Works at The Plaza features live stand-up comedy every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. Each week features a different line-up of world-class performers who have been seen everywhere from Netflix to The Tonight Show to Comedy Central. All shows take place in the iconic Plaza Showroom (adjacent to the casino floor) and tickets start at just $20.00 (more for “Special Events”).

January Lineup

Matt Braunger

Matt Braunger grew up in Portland, Oregon and has been professionally hilarious since 2007. The year after that he won “Best of the Fest” at the Aspen Comedy Festival. He’s done two comedy specials: “Shovel Fighter” (Comedy Central), and “Big Dumb Animal” (Netflix) and three comedy albums. Braunger’s done stand-up on Letterman, The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, Conan, SXSW Comedy on Showtime, The Meltdown, Live at Gotham, and many more.

Kevin Brennan

Kevin Brennan is the host of the wildly popular “Misery Loves Company” and “Burning Bridges” podcasts. Brennan was voted “Best Comedian” at the 2005 Aspen Comedy Festival which led to him taping his own HBO half-hour comedy special. Brennan started his career in Chicago but soon relocated to New York City to pursue his dream of being on the “Late Show with David Letterman.” He nailed his first Letterman set which led to bookings on “Late Night with Conan O’Brien” and “Last Call with Carson Daly.” Brennan is a former writer/performer on “Saturday Night Live.” He recently taped a pilot for NBC called “Number One Son.” Kevin is one of ten children and became a stand-up comedian because he didn’t get enough attention as a child.

Steve Byrne has risen through the ranks of the comedy world to become one of the industry’s most innovative and sought-after performers. He has evolved throughout the years into an extremely versatile entertainer that delivers on a day-to-day basis. Hailing from Pittsburgh, PA, Steve Byrne was born to a Korean mother and an Irish father. His unique background gave him the base comedic material for his first television show, Sullivan & Son, which aired for 3 seasons on TBS.

Jade Catta-Preta

Jade Catta-Preta is a Brazilian Comic who was recently tapped to host "The Soup" on the E! Network beginning in February of 2020. She performs stand-up comedy all over the country and features for Bill Burr, Kevin Nealon and Bobby Lee. You can catch her on Pop's New Series Return of The Mac and Trutv's Those Who Can't, Greatest Ever and Comedy Knockdown.

Kevin Farley

Kevin Farley is regular Stand-Up comedian at notable venues such as The Laugh Factory in LA and Chicago, The Improv in LA and Palm Beach, Florida and The Comedy Store. He studied at the famous Second City in Chicago and then soon after starred in films such as Black Sheep (with his brother Chris Farley) and The Waterboy with Adam Sandler, and leading roles in An American Carol, White Knight just to name a few. Jeff Allen is in his fifth decade as a working comedian. You may have seen him on Comedy Central, VH-1, Showtime, TBN, CBN, Family Net and numerous other television networks. He can be heard regularly on SiriusXM’s comedy channels, also Pandora and Spotify. He has performed for our troops on aircraft carriers and ships in the Indian Ocean. Look for him and on the fastest growing comedy internet sensation, Drybar Comedy where Jeff has surpassed 30 million views on Facebook and YouTube in a very short span of time. Jeff has also produced and starred in his own sitcom pilot for Castlerock Television and in the critically acclaimed films, “Apostles of Comedy.”

Thea Vidale

Thea Vidale is an American stand-up comedian and actress. She began her career doing stand-up comedy in comic clubs in Washington, D.C., New York City, and Los Angeles. As an actress, she has made numerous guest appearances on sitcoms, including Ellen, The Wayans Bros., The Drew Carey Show, and My Wife and Kids. She may be best known for her portrayal of "Thea" on her own sitcom Thea for which she was nominated for a People's Choice Award as Favorite Female in a New Series. She has also starred in Master P's comedy movie Repo's.

Famous for his frenetic pace, vivid language and punchline-a-second style, DiBitetto has been known to whip the crowd into a hysterical frenzy. His own sitcom (Hulu’s Don’t Know Jack) was the latest in a long list of achievements for this Brooklyn-born comic, including winning America’s Funniest People on ABC and racking up 22 million views on YouTube (check out his “Bread and Milk” sketch and Justin Bieber rants). Now, after dabbling in film (Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2) and headlining top clubs on both coasts, this hugely talented entertainer steps up to the mic at the Comedy Works at The Plaza Hotel & Casino for 4 shows in Las Vegas!

Craig Gass

He first gained fame as the guy who did voices for The Howard Stern Show when his Gene Simmons impression sparked an on-air feud between Craig and the real Gene Simmons, which eventually resulted in a friendship between the two. Craig was a hit on Comedy Central's Roast of Gene Simmons. He also became a favorite character on King of Queens as the funny guy at work that drove Kevin James crazy with jealousy. He's been the voice of memorable characters on Family Guy and The Cleveland Show.
