The Comedy Works at The Plaza features live stand-up comedy every Thursday, Friday & Saturday night. Each week features a different line-up of world-class performers who have been seen everywhere from Netflix to The Tonight Show to Comedy Central. All shows take place in the iconic Plaza Showroom (adjacent to the casino floor) and tickets start at just $20.00 (more for “Special Events”).

Nick Di Paolo

In this day of watered down comedy Nick Di Paolo's brutally honest performances remind us of what great stand up should be - funny, socially relevant and a little bit reckless. Nick has performed on The Tonight Show, Late Night with David Letterman, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Conan O’ Brien. He was twice nominated for an Emmy for his writing on HBO’s The Chris Rock Show. He has also had three half hour standup specials on Comedy Central, a Showtime Special “Raw Nerve”, a self released special “Another Senseless Killing” “Inflammatory” and his newest and most controversial release “A Breath of Fresh Air” in 2019. He was one of the stars on Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn and a stand out on many Comedy Central Roasts.

Augie T. is a comic, tv and movie actor and radio personality from Hawaii who has been performing for audiences in Hawaii, across the United States and internationally for 28 years. He was recently named one of the US’s top undiscovered comedians in 2019 by Thrillist magazine. Some of his other achievements include funniest comic in Hawaii and one of Hawaii’s top 100 influential Filipinos. He was awarded the best comedy show by Honolulu Magazine and has won 2 Na Hoku Hano Hano awards which are Hawaii’s equivalent to the Grammy Award. You can hear him every morning on the Augie Radio Show on 93.1 Da Paina.

Kevin Farley is regular Stand-Up comedian at notable venues such as The Laugh Factory in LA and Chicago, The Improv in LA and Palm Beach, Florida and The Comedy Store. He studied at the famous Second City in Chicago and then soon after starred in films such as Black Sheep (with his brother Chris Farley) and The Waterboy with Adam Sandler, and leading roles in An American Carol, White Knight just to name a few. His TV guest appearances have been on Curb Your Enthusiasm, Rules of Engagement, The Neighbors, Hot in Cleveland, Just Shoot Me, United States of Tara, True Jackson, VP, Comedy Central’s Drunk History, Hawaii Five -O, to name a few, and including HA!

Jim Florentine

Jim has recorded six stand-up comedy albums and shot four full-length specials. On television Jim hosted 7 seasons of VH1 Classic’s “That Metal Show” as well as lending his voice to the ground breaking “Crank Yankers”. On radio Jim currently hosts “Everybody Is Awful” on Barstool Sports and has been a regular on The Howard Stern show and the Opie & Anthony show. In addition Jim is a best selling author, world-renowned voice over talent and has been featured in the film’s “Beer League” with Artie Lange and “Trainwreck” with Amy Schumer.
