View Room Rates & Availability for New Year’s Eve!

Downtown Las Vegas is the spot to be seen for New Year’s Eve.

Hundreds of thousands of partiers will descend upon the streets of Las Vegas on New Year’s Eve this year, and the vibrant party atmosphere may be just what you need to get into the spirit of the evening and the excitement of a fresh start. Here’s what to expect for New Year’s Eve in downtown Las Vegas in 2018.

First of all, with several hundred thousand revelers all needing a place to stay on New Year’s Eve, it’s important to find and book a hotel early. Rooms sell out quickly and prices soar during the holiday season. The Strip will see some of the highest travel prices, so you have a better chance at a holiday hotel deal in Downtown Las Vegas.

Once you’ve gotten accommodations arranged, it’s time to focus on the exciting things to do. We’d be remiss if we didn’t start the list with the biggest New Year’s event each year in DTLV, the New Year’s Eve at Fremont Street Experience.

Where to Stay

Where you choose to stay will depend on the type of experience you’re looking to have while in town. On busy holiday weekends, we believe there is a trifecta of features that you should seek out to procure the perfect headquarters for your needs – proximity (close to the action but still far enough to retreat and recoup each day is ideal), good dining and entertainment for when you want to stay in or have a nightcap, and value (service/amenities + cost/affordability).

Las Vegas New Year’s Festivities

Grab lunch or dinner at the Heart Attack Grill in DTLV so you’ll have a nice fully belly to prepare you for a night of partying! Here you’ll find a ridiculously indulgent menu with huge burgers, amazing fries, and real butter-fat shakes.

Before the New Year’s Even festivities begin, check out The Mob Museum during the day to remind you of the origins of this vibrant city. This fascinating museum is a must-see and even includes a massive piece of the actual brick wall from the site of the legendary St. Valentine’s Day Massacre. And, since it’s just a few blocks from Fremont Street you won’t be far from any of the action.

With so many great dining options in downtown Las Vegas, none offer the view and atmosphere as our very own iconic Oscar’s Steakhouse.
