Helldorado Days Rodeo: A Las Vegas Tradition Since 1936
Helldorado Days Rodeo, formerly known as Las Vegas Days Rodeo, is a historic cowboy-themed event that has been celebrating Las Vegas’ rich Wild West heritage since 1936.
Held annually at the CORE Arena, this rodeo is one of the longest-running events in the city and continues to be a beloved tradition for locals and visitors alike.
Presented by the Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial and The Plaza Hotel & Casino, the rodeo showcases thrilling competition, celebrating the spirit of the American cowboy while honoring Las Vegas’ role in the history of the Wild West.
This year, the event will be bigger than ever before with the addition of a family-friendly festival before the rodeo excitement begins each night. The festival will include a petting zoo, mechanical bull rides, carnival rides and games, line dancing, Mutton Bustin, Whiskerino Contest, Coloring Contest Helen Jane Stewart Award cermony and much more.
