Heads Up Hold ’Em

Objective: Make the best 5-card poker hand using your two hole cards and five community cards to beat the dealer.

Gameplay:

  • Place an Ante & Odds Bet – Mandatory to start.
  • Two hole cards are dealt to both player and dealer.
  • Flop is revealed (first 3 community cards).
  • Decide to Check or Bet 2x the Ante.
  • Turn & River are revealed (final 2 community cards).
  • If checked earlier, you may bet 1x the Ante.
  • Best 5-card hand wins; ties push.

How to Play:

Players use two pocket cards and the 5-card community board to create their best 5-card poker hand. Prior to seeing cards, players must place equal Ante and Odds bets.

As the community cards are revealed, the player can choose to Raise or check. Raise amounts vary by phase:
• 3x the Ante pre-flop
• 2x the Ante after the flop
• 1x the Ante after the turn and river

The best hand wins. Ties push. Any optional side bets are resolved after the hand concludes.

Wager Info:

Ante: Equal to Odds bet. Wins even money if the player beats the dealer. Pushes if dealer doesn’t qualify (Pair or better).

Raise: Mandatory if continuing after community cards. Paid even money if the player wins.

Odds / Bad Beat Bonus: Equal to Ante. Wins odds with a Straight or better, or if the player loses with a Straight or better (Bad Beat payout).

Optional Side Bets:

Trips Plus: Wins based on hand strength using the player’s pocket cards plus the community board.

Pocket Bonus: Pays odds based only on the player’s two pocket cards.
