OFFICAL RULES

  1. All participants must be at least 21 years of age, a member of the Plaza Rewards club and have a valid ID to participate.
  2. The tournament will be open to the public until all sessions are filled or at the end of late registration, whichever comes first. Registration will be held March 26, 2021 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm by the Plaza Rewards desk. Late registration will be held on March 27, 2021 from 8:30am-9:30am by the Plaza Rewards desk.
  3. Participants may qualify to play in the tournament by being issued a complimentary entry based on prior/current casino play or pay an entry fee of $150.00.
  4. The tournament will consist of one (1) 3-minute session of play on March 27, 2021. Sessions will begin at 10:00am.  Participants must report to the Plaza Rewards area 10 minutes prior to the start of their assigned session time.  Each participant will play one tournament machine in a 3-minute session as fast as he/she can play.  Each participant will be assured a full 3 minute session of play.
  5. In the event of a machine malfunction, the participant will play in the next available session for that tournament round or play on a new machine. The points previously accumulated on the machine that malfunctioned will not stand or be carried over to the new session of play.
  6. Participants can qualify for our Second Chance Round:
    1.  To qualify for the Second Chance Round, participants must earn a minimum of 3,000 points between 12:01am on March 26, 2021 and 2:00pm on March 27, 2021. Participants can earn one additional session (3,000 points earned = 1 additional session to replace their lowest session score. The list of qualified 3,000-point earners will be posted at the Tournament Area at 2:30pm.  After the list is posted, all qualified players must visit the Tournament Desk to be assigned their Second Chance Round prior to the start of the round at 3:00pm.
  7. All scores will be automatically recorded on the credit meter of each machine. At the end of the 3-minute session, the total score will be recorded on the credit meter and the machine will provide a ticket showing the score. It is the participant’s responsibility to verify their score obtained in the session prior to leaving the tournament area.
  8. The highest total score of either session of play determine the winner. All ties will require the sum of the prizes at stake to be divided equally among the tied participants.
  9. Tournament session play times are preset and cannot be adjusted or changed.
  10. Participants that do not show up for their assigned session will receive a score of a zero (0).
  11. All participants will practice Nevada’s Social Distancing Mandate – wearing a face mask covering at all times and keeping a six (6) foot distance from each person(s).
  12. All Tournament machines and chairs will be properly cleaned/disinfected after each participant.
  13. Smoking of cigars, cigarettes, e-cigarettes or vapers will not be allowed at the Slot Tournament area.
  14. All winners will be posted at the Plaza Rewards Desk thirty (30) minutes from the end of the Slot Tournament.
  15. All tournament winners prizes must be signed for and will be uploaded to the kiosk for redemption.
  16.  Free Slot Play prizes will be forfeited if participant does not claim his/her prize from the kiosk by 11:59pm.
  17. 1st Place – $5,000; 2nd Place – $3,000; 3rd Place – $2,000; 4th Place; $1,000 5th  Place $700; 6th Place – $500; 7th – 12th  Place – $250; 13th -25th Place – $100.
  18. All Free Slot Play that is less than $1,000 will expire within 72 hours of date and time of issuance, free slot play that is $1,000-$4,999 will expire 7 days from the date and time of issuance and any free slot play that is $5,000 or greater will expire 30 days from date and time of issuance.  
  19. Plaza Hotel and Casino Management reserves the right to start, revise, amend, extend or cancel this promotion with 24 hours prior notice.
  20. Employees, members of their household and/or relatives of team members of The Plaza Hotel & Casino, its subsidiaries and advertising agencies may not participate in any Plaza Hotel & Casino Promotions/Tournaments unless otherwise stated in official rules.
  21. Any dispute or situation not covered by these rules shall be resolved by the property’s management in a manner that is fair to all parties.  If the patron is not satisfied with management’s decision, he or she may exercise their rights under NRS 463.361 ET eq. and request the Nevada Gaming Control Board to review the matter.
  22. By participating in this Promotion, each member shall be deemed to have read and clearly understood these Official Rules.
  23. Participation in this promotion constitutes Plaza Reward member’s agreement to abide by the Official Rules of Plaza Rewards and the decisions of The Plaza Hotel and Casino. Complete copies of all Plaza promotion rules and policies are available at the Plaza Rewards desk. By participating in this promotion, each winner hereby gives their permission and consent to allow The Plaza and its affiliated companies to use their name, likeness, photograph, video or image for promotional purposes without compensation.
  24. The Plaza Hotel and Casino reserves the right to deny participation in the promotion or revoke Plaza Rewards card account at any time in its sole discretion.
  25. Any participant that has been trespassed, excluded or barred from The Plaza Hotel and Casino will be disqualified from this promotion and will not be eligible to participate.
