How to Play Pai Gow Plus Poker

Pai Gow Plus is basically the same traditional Pai Gow Poker game with an additional Double Bonus & Plus Hand. Unlike Pai Gow Poker, there are only five player positions on Pai Gow Plus. The sixth position (next to the dealer's left side) is for the Plus Hand (Community Dragon Hand), on which all the players have the option to bet.

The Double Bonus wager is a bet that the player's best five card hand from their original seven cards will make a qualifying poker hand, regardless of how the players ser their Pai Gow Poker hand. The payoff schedule is posted at the table. The Plus Hand wager is a bet that the player's make after they set the hand and before the dealer exposes the House Hand. The dealer sets the Plus Hand and the Pai Gow hand according to the House way. "The rules of Pai Gow do not change."

Rules of Play

  1. Each player must make a Pai Gow Poker wager and optionally may make a Double Bonus wager.
  2. Notes:
The players must be the optional Double Bonus before the cards are dealt. The Plus Hand wager may not be larger than the Pai Gow Poker wager within the table limits.

  3. After the players set their hands and before the dealer exposes the House Hand, the players may bet the optional Plus Hand (Community Dragon Hand).
  4. After all player hands have been set, the House Hand first then the Plus Hand (Dragon) according to the House way.
  5. The dealer then compares the Plus Hand (Dragon) against the House Hand and settles the Plus Hand wager as appropriate.
